Sheefish
Sheefish are generally silverish in color over the main body area, with shades of bluish-silver, and green towards the top, their lower belly area tends to be more pale-gray to bone-white in color, different shading colors can occur as water conditions such as the algae count, raises or lowers, and the main diet of the Sheefish in that area.
Many anglers consider Sheefish a great sportfish, due to their size and the power they exhibit when caught, they can offer a nice battle when reeling in, in the USA Sheefish mostly inhabit rivers where they live. Sheefish love hanging around the river bottoms, and especially in deep cold channels, with strong current.
When fishing for Sheefish with lures, try using large deep diving spoons or flashy spinners. Remember that they like hanging at deep depths near the bottom, so use lures, or deep divers that can reach and attract the fish where they tend to stay. Some anglers say they have good luck using large imitation fish lures also, when fishing for Sheefish.
